Teach  staff how to use office equipment properly e.g using photocopiers. this may cut down on call out charges. Program the photocopiers to show the error message on screen instead of printing it on a sheet of paper.

Do not always order the cheapest stationery as some of this is not of a basic standard i.e pens leeking just after you start using them. So you end up ordering more pens would be better ordering  more expesive pens that last longer. Encourage staff  to use up all the statonery they have before asking for a new supply

It may help to cut down on the amount spent.
